Been too long

Nick and Jackson came back from South America and we took them to this crazy Indian place that is right next to another crazy Indian place and the men out front fight over your business. They both have the exact same decor and it's very amusing. They didn't give Nick all of his dinner though, and then they wouldn't knock any bucks off the bill and I got heated and told them we'd be going next door from then on!

A very nice day spent alone in the big city. The view from the Manhattan bridge, the Met, and Central Park. This little guy looks like something I'd draw, only he's a few hundred years old.

Oh god, this is making me so hungry. Let's go into this establishment and order some of their delicious looking food.


This is a dumpster full of pillows! It's like in the cartoons, when someone falls out the window and lands safely on pillows, that can really happen.

Ian came to visit and we had a great time. He played my guitar and it was beautiful. We ate good food, went to the Natural Hist. Museum, and caught a performance by the NYPHS in a huge old church. Great concert even if the line to get in was three bocks long and we couldn't see much. We also went to a burlesque show and Ian met Moby.This bathroom was very sketchy at the club. Ian loves icecream.

Theo Mercier was inspired by my bathroom invention and made this work after seeing it. Only thing is, it's selling for around 7 grand and I'm not getting a cut. Everything is starting to look like a site specific installation to me. These chicken wings on the subway stairs would probably sell...

I think my favorite thing about seeing Throbbing Gristle, was that this elevator at the Masonic Temple used the insignia as its floor indicator.
We went to the flea market and I saw this and I wanted to build it.
This is almost as funny as Happy Boy Margarine.

So we walked like five miles to the Statue of Liberty fairy and they were closed, at three in the afternoon, bummer.

We went to the new Yankee stadium and it was very exciting! Leanne had never been to any baseball game before, and I think we may have ruined her. The third pitch was a homerun for the Rays and in total something like seven of them were hit that night. It was a perfect day, and the full moon came out as it got dark. We lost, but I don't think anyone really cared except the agro dude down a row that was yelling and scaring us and probably on his way home to beat his wife, all decked out head to toe in Yankee gear.

Afterwards we hit up a Yankee bar down the street and drank until we thought the masses had already caught their trains. It was so great of Brian to buy us tickets!

Monkey is our baby and she will never grow up.

This is the gallery I work at and this is the installation I worked very hard at. Nicolas Buffe did all the design and I cut out all the details and helped hang it. Yes, I'm proud of my work.

Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote, but I've been working. Yes, I have a job now and no I'm not going to tell you all about it because I don't think that's a good idea. Writing about your work on a blog is not the best idea in this economy, but I will say that it's a weight off my shoulders.

Some interesting news for you Sabretooth Tiger fans out there; seems like a record label may be interested in re-issuing (or rather issuing, I think we made about 100 CDs originally) our album on 7 inch. So I'm crossing my fingers on that one. I'm still working on my comics blog and will have some stuff up in a day or so and then I'll be bothering all of you soon enough to check it out. Also I may have some work scoring some videos, but that is not yet solidified.

Nick and Jackson are coming here soon and we're going to have a great time! I can't wait! Also, if you didn't know, today is Nick's birthday so wish him well.
